From Cincinnati to Colombia, my salsa journey has been built on passion, performance, and nonstop growth. I started dancing in 2021, training in linear salsa and quickly stepping into the performance world with CincyMovement.

Hungry to elevate my style, I traveled to Colombia to study the speed, flavor, and intensity of Cali syle salsa at its roots. Now in 2026, I'm teaching with Cali Soul, bringing high energy, sharp footwork, musicality, and authentic Latin flavor to every class and performance.

Whether on stage or in the classroom, my goal is simple: push dancers to grow, build confidence, and bring real energy to the dance floor.

Gustavo began his dance journey in Nicaragua in 2023 starting with Cuban salsa and Bachata where he performed with a dance troupe later the same year. Dancing quickly became a lifestyle for Gustavo as he continued to hone his skills in two more styles, Cali and On1 Salsa, through additional training, rehearsals, and social dancing.

To Gustavo, dance is more than just movement; it's connection, creativity, confidence, and community. He is ever grateful for the opportunities Latin dance has given him to grow and form meaningful connections with others through musical performance.
